Farming has been playing an important role in our lives ever since. This has been a sensitive topic that everyone always treat with respect. As farming being said as an important field of industry, a farmer is consequently considered important as well. A typical look of a farmer in his work would need him to wear a straw hat, carry a pitchfork and usually donned in jumpers.

Farms have always played a vital role in our lives as it becomes the key source of nutrition for all people. Many people grew up growing their own vegetables and fruits, and having cows and other animals around for milk and meat. Farmers are known to get up very early to do the necessary chores to keep that family farm going.

Farming is changed over the years as technology has entered the picture. Farmers today no longer have to bother themselves with plowing the fields through the use of cows or yokes. Machines as well as other modern equipment are now also used in farming to make the chores easier and quicker to finish. Many of those crops or produce from genetic engineering to better stand up to whether and other harsh environments such as pests. Huge, technically designed storage facilities such as silos maintain constant temperature and humidity and allows these farmers to store more efficiently and safely. With this modern advancements in farming, people are now able to avail a bigger amount of produce or goods in the local market.

Sprinkler cans were usually used back then to water plants and crops in a farm. Now days with the advent of spraying machinery on timers, huge swaths of farmland can be irrigated and treated with nutrients and fertilizer all at the same time. With this, the modern farmer is able to carry out more chores at the same time and are able to grow his goods at a quicker rate.

The cow-drawn plows have always been very handy for farmers back in the days. The sturdy animals provided the power and in some cases the manure to fertilize crops. Today's world however no longer require these mediocre methods. Today, modern machines and equipment that are computer controlled can now be used to do these manual labors. Plowing is now made more easy and more areas can be covered with these amazing modern equipment and machineries. This would directly mean more time saved thus giving the farmer more time to spend on other chores.

Today, computers have been providing us with the utmost benefits in everything. Computers for farmers are used to schedule their chores such as milking cows, tending to their animals as well as to their crops. That frees the farmer to do other chores. Computers can handle all schedules within the farm that the farmer would usually do. Also, computers can perform computations or calculations with regard to the families finances, expenses, payroll and others accurately.

It is all through these modern methods that farming today has become very efficient. Not only is time saved but also effort as well as money through these advanced equipment.
