If you enjoy taking beer you would probably be interested in knowing how to make it at home. Beer brewing for beginners is not as hard as you may think. All you require is to purchase the right kit and learn the steps that you should follow. You need to know the procedure on how to make this drink at home.

You need to buy malt extract. This product is usually sold in cans. Soaking these cans in hot water helps to get the malt out easily and it becomes soft also. After extracting the malt mix it with boiled water. Keep stirring until it dissolves properly. What you get is known as wort.

The wort should be boiled for about half an hour. Keep stirring every once in a while. After about 5 to 10 minutes while the wort is boiling, you should add hop pellets in the mixture. The next process you need to perform is sanitizing your fermentor. It is advisable to use about a gallon of water, an ounce of bleach and a sponge to sanitize the lid as well as the fermentor.

After the fermentor has been properly sanitized, cold water should be poured into it. The wort should then be added and the lid placed on top. The next step is to wait for the wort to cool till it reaches room temperature.

The next step is to hydrate the yeast. There are instructions that accompany the yeast when you buy it and you should follow them. After you are done hydrating it, add it to the wort. You need to get the lid off the fermentor quickly and when you pour the yeast it is advisable not to stir.

Add more water to the mixture until the air lock is halfway full. This is the final part in the fermentation process. Put the beer in a dark room that is held at room temperature. This should last for a period of 14 days. You should expect to hear bubbling if the process is going well.

After the fermentation process is done you now need to bottle the product. It is important to have the bottles and the caps sanitized. For the bottles it is advisable to use water and bleach. You should find a mild solution of bleach for the caps. Alternatively, you can use vodka. Other tools such as the bucket, the bottle filler, the racking cane and the siphon hose need to be sanitized as well.

Add water to corn sugar and boil the mixture. Pour it into the bottling bucket and place it on the floor of the kitchen. Place the fermentor on the counter and begin siphoning the beer from it into the bottling bucket. When it gets full place it on the kitchen counter and attach the bottle filler, the cane and the siphon hose. After this you can start to pour the drink into bottles. Before capping you need to ensure that a little room is left at the neck. Store the beer for about 14 days before you can drink it. Beer brewing for beginners is simple if you follow the procedure correctly.
