A lot of people are listening to Korean music and often times Korean songs are the most requested in radio stations. You can now see how some Hollywood celebrities are a fan of the Korean culture by looking at the way they dress themselves.

Korea is an amazing country rich in culture and tradition that is unique and mysterious. Korean food and cuisine may not be popular as their music and fashion, but learning more about them helps us understand the Korean culture.

Korean cuisine and dishes may look a lot similar to Japanese and Asian cuisine but when you taste them, they have a strong Korean taste that is different from other cuisines. "Kimchi" is the favorite of Koreans and this food is the most popular. Koreans love this food and everytime they dine, "kimchi" is always present on their tables. If you are a hot and spicy lover, then you will definitely enjoy a small serving of Kimchi. The best thing about kimchi is that it is very easy to make. This is made from fermented cabbage with salt and pepper. Other spices are also included such as garlic and ginger as well as a scallion.

Stew is also among the most popular Korean dish. Soups and stews are popular in Korea that is why Koreans have made different stews. Koreans often make Kimchi stew. "Hang-over" stew is common especially among people who love to drink late at night. Hang-over stew makes a person feel relieved after a night of drinking sessions. Hang-over stew has quite a unique ingredient such as Ox blood.

Seafood is popular in many Asian cuisines. Korea also has their versions of seafood specialties. Koreans have a similar seafood recipes with other Asian countries. One of the most popular seafood is crab that is served with rice and soy sauce for flavor. Mud fish is also a favorite seafood. The mud fish is always a favorite especially when cooked as a stew or soup.

Similar to japan or China, Korea also has a lot of noodle recipes. Noodles and stir-fry vegetables are popular all over Asia and Asians just love these dishes. Noodles are most popular and often termed as a Chinese recipe, but Korea also has their own way of cooking noodles. Koreans cook Jjajangmyeon, a noodle recipe. Koreans are very created and have made this recipe in authentic Korean style. Spicy noodles such as Seafood Noodles are among the top favorites of each Korean.
