The importance of vitamin E in humans is indispensable; it is associated with lower risk in cancer and heart diseases. It may also have anti-aging benefits.

This method of farming is also friendly to the animals. As opposed to animals fattened in feedlots (confined animal feeding operations, CAFO), the pasture depended farming incurs less and abuse. Due to the endless stress and abuse subjected to in CAFO, the cattle become afflicted with a wide spectrum of disorders. Such include the subacute acidosis, which is a painful condition that makes them kick at their bellies and lose appetite. In reaction, the animals are subjected to chemical additives and antibiotics.

The firms are also mindful of the environment. With the method, the cattle are well distributed and have no significant impact on the environment. Nevertheless, the commercial farms concentrate the cattle in a small place that requires collecting and transporting the waste for disposal. This ultimately amounts to the pollution of rivers, streams and the ground. The energy, such as diesel and gasoline, used to power the equipment in commercial farms aggravates the pollution.
