In any normal working situation there will never come a time that you will work alone. You will have to report to someone or have people report to you. As a manager you will have a group of people that you will need to oversee. They shall all have to work as a group and they need to be very cooperative in order for them to reach their set objectives. During team building events in Orange County there are many activities that you can all engage in.

So that your main objective can be achieved you must have a goal in mind. There are several reasons that you might go for these activities. You might have a new team and you want them to know each other. It might even be you want to create trust within your group or simply the fact that you want them to be motivated at work. Whichever reason one might have choosing Orange County, CA is a wise step.

There are some skills that your group might be lacking or they are very poor. One of them is the communication skills between the members. This should be worked one. There is an activity that is usually known as back to back drawing that is great for this. They will do this activity in pairs. You can pair them up yourself of ask them to choose their partner.

After they are in twos ask them to have their backs face each other and if possible touch each other. After doing this you will give one of them a pen or pencil and a sheet of paper. The other one you will hand him an object. The object can take many forms. It can be a picture or simply a shape. The one with the shape will have to give their partner hints as to what it is and have them draw it. Then after they are done they can compare what the object was and what they drew.

You can use also the survival scenario. How this works is that you give them a situation. Like they were on a plane and it has just crushed in the ocean. They are the only survivors and they need to get to dry land. They have a boat and it is actually large enough for all of them.

The rick is that the boat has space for just twelve items. They will work together and they should choose twelve items to take to the shore. They therefore need to rank the different objects in order of how important each is to their survival. This interaction is great with them since it will greatly improve their communication skills.

Trust is crucial in any group. For a group to function they will need to rely on the other members and this will take trust. They should therefore have trust in each other and this can be done by the activity called the human spring.

After they are paired you will ask them to face one another. Then they shall hold their hands up and let their palms touch. Then you will ask each individual to move their feet further away from their partner as possible such that they will rely on their partner for support.
